Experience
Shauna began her career with Williams & Company as an intern during tax season in 1997 while completing her final semester at Wayne State College. She joined the firm full-time in May of that year as a staff accountant in the Yankton office. Over the years, she has held roles as senior accountant, engagement manager, and shareholder.
Shauna’s interest in accounting began in high school when she took an independent study class and enjoyed working through the projects. She entered college with her major already set and never considered changing it, finding the coursework both challenging and interesting.
Throughout her time at Williams & Company, many things have changed, but the firm’s commitment to valuing team members and clients has remained consistent. She continues to enjoy the type of work she does and the variety each day brings.
